2022 has been, musically speaking, a very tough year for me. I’ve made lots of music, but so little of it was for me. I have spent so much of the last 8 years thinking I was striving toward an aesthetic or creative goal that was external to me, that to emulate those around me was the only way to make something compelling. But my roots were more personal, more about making what I enjoyed.
I could talk about this forever, but I hope you like this song. Because it’s very me! It’s what I wanted to make and I plan to do that more often.
The song features vocals from Lyra Ivy, who I have been working with this year on a few projects! Please check out her music below :)

Hello! I think I'd like to give a quick update on this page. This is just a place for my thoughts and to let anyone who may be wondering that I'm still alive! These thoughts are not organized, you may read them or not :)
The future is scary and exciting and uncertain. At one point I thought I'd like to make music and other content indefinitely, for as long as I could, because I love creating and sharing. It's so fulfilling and exciting. But it comes with a lot of anxiety, huge amounts of uncertainty and it requires genuine dedication to do well at. I don't truly know whether I am cut out for success or not, but my passion for content creation will probably always persist in one form or another.
It's been 14 months since I released any music, and that will change soon. I have been working with a vocalist on lots of new music and I intend to expand the scope of my content creation to more than just music and art in the future. I think that the next few years will see a change in the way that online content (particularly art) is created and consumed, with the recent and swift advances in technology. Many online artists may need to adapt to continue to thrive in this environment.
I'm excited about new technology expanding the scope of what I can create. At one point I found myself afraid of it (and I still do in various ways) but the only healthy way forward is to embrace change. What that means for me and for others is unknown, but I hope it's cool at least.
Also, I'm user of the day! Thanks.
TL;DR - I'm still alive, I'm still active, I'm still here and I care about music as much as I ever did. I will have new music out sooner rather than later. The future is uncertain, but I will be here one way or another, creating as I always have.
