I gave up using pattern clips a long time ago. They made my projects get too repetitive, somehow. I imagine if there was a way to make pattern blocks thinner, I'd make even more complex songs. They should include that option in FL9. Just like in the Piano Roll, how you can make the notes thinner.

This is the first time I've used only clips for a song. I find it easier to make the song more diverse this way because you can slice things up, and I wanted to try a new method...
Oh, and you can make them thinner. Click and drag the squashed box under the square which is under the X that closes the playlist.
