duuuude this looks like its mad hard to use xD ik ihave trouble using garageband already and it looks easier to use than this xD
Hai! I havent heard from you for a while :O
Also, it gets easy after a while. Verrrrrry easy :3
FL Studio has to be the easiest music making program on the market. That's why everyone on Newgrounds seems to use it, and why the AP is flooded with crappy preset mash-togethers.
I tried Cubase the other day, and it's hard as hell. Instead of having the patterns listed next to the playlist, the CHANNELS are listed next to the playlist and you have to CREATE the patterns by selecting a certain area and then double clicking somewhere which opens up the Key Editor which is a lot more annoying to use than the FL Piano Roll because it doesn't utilise the right-click function enough.
Also the version I was using doesn't come with any synths, so you have to get all these VSTs yourself.
Sounds awful. And yeah, the AP is loaded with talentless crap a lot of the time D:
Looks complex. :P Will do.
Why thankyou my good sir :D

:O 25 patterns? My last song had 75. =P
The song is quite nice, but the drums seem to be drowned out underneath the pads and piano. Very melodic though. I can't be bothered writing a review, sorry. XD
Also, because I feel like it, I'm going to rant slightly about how much I hate FL9.
Well, it's not that bad. But they're trying to forsake the use of pattern blocks for the clips. Why? I only ever used the pattern clips if I wanted to make an adjustment to patterns, like take the end off or something. But NOO, because they have this fancy new track system that means every row in the clip section can be named, coloured and mute/soloed. Now I think that's a very good thing, but what I don't like is that the program near-FORCES you to use it. It's like they're selling out to Cubase or something. It's quite useful if you want to make repetitively structured rock/pop songs which are easily broken up into verses, chorus, etc., but for techno and whatever else I feel like making, I just prefer it the old way. For some reason, they decided they'd fix the clip section to the top, and remove the Swap Panels feature. It may not sound like much, but it totally ruins the program for me. They've added some nice new Mixer and Piano Roll features, but I doubt they'd be much use to me, and I could just export the state or score files and put it back into FL8 (though sometimes this glitches up). Also, I've noticed a few glitches in it, particularly concerning the Fruity Squeeze plugin. Not for me. =(
FUCK, I did write a lot.

I havent tried FL9 yet.
Also, I had about 40 patterns but couldnt be bothered naming them.
