By the way, man. Despite the fact that you are now ashamed of MEx1, and that you're no longer very impressed with MEx2 either, and that you gave up on MEx3 long ago, I was simply in urgent need to give an overall review for each of them. Well, just incase I never did so beforehand.
Madness Execution 1:
Hmm..... let's see..... I know it was your first, and that you've improved BIG TIME from this, but it was NOT a bad animation at all. I've seen WAY worse. It was rather choppy, no denial there. But at least you had decent sounds and sprites. Oh, and let's take a look at the music used:
Archetype (1st song): AMAZING!!!!! No doubt about it. Next to the track used in MC4, it is my favorite song in the entire newgrounds audio portal. Just super epic pwnage. Helix6 (the guy who made that song) just rocks!
Madness 6 Remix (2nd song): Ehh..... never a song I liked very much, sorry. Cheshyre has made better songs and worse songs than that.
Wire (3rd song): Great. It was API's first song ever submitted. Sure he's made better (like the MC8 track and "Charged") , but he's still made worse (like his overused song "The Virus- Preview", which I never liked at all).
Overall Ranking of flash: 7.50/10.00
Madness Execution 2:
OK, this absolutely was LOADS better than the first. Your skills were much better in this. No doubt or denial about that. Sure it had choppy parts, but way less choppiness than the first. Excellent use of V-CAM. Now for the music used:
Madness 6 (1st song): Very Good. Much better for sequels than the first episode of a series. Thank you for saving it for the sequel instead of using it in MEx1. The MC4 track is still MILES better, though. But still a fine song.
TrainMadness (2nd Song): Umm.... good but NOT great. I got annoyed at first when it was used so often. But now it's totally calmed down. Still a decent choice of music.
Overall Ranking of flash: 8.75/10.00
Madness Execution 3:
You totally gave up here. I'm still disappointed about that, but I know that you simply were unable to continue on it. Who knows? Maybe you'll get back to it someday. I highly doubt it, but you never know. I was really excited to see it before you gave up. It was even going to have my name on a wall! I'm sure that it would've beaten the first and second by MILES. And the choppiness would be no more! Well, most of it, at least. What music would you have used?
Overall Ranking of flash: N/A (because I obviously never saw it)
And I know that it's been such a long time since you even opened flash. If you ever get back to animating, good luck with whatever you might make! But still, I meant EVERY word of that mega review, as well as this entire comment.
